Penlan Pharmacy and Minor Ailments Clinic (formerly Well) is now once again an independently run local pharmacy. The new owners want to create a community pharmacy that local people can depend on .
The pharmacy offers:
- Walk in Prescriptions: while you wait, we never turn patients away if we have the medication in stock and wont ask you to return tomorrow to collect. You can have your medication straight away.
- Free Repeat Prescription Ordering and Collection: we will order your repeat medication from your GP, collect it and prepare your medication with no fuss and right first time. We also offer a free delivery service.
-Minor Ailments Clinic: this is open access where anyone can book an appointment as an alternative to seeing their GP for a range of conditions. You can be prescribed any medication you need and leave the pharmacy with it there and then.
Open Access Minor Ailments Clinic
This service is open access, meaning anyone can book online or walk in during our opening hours (9am-6pm Mon-Fri and 9am-12 noon Sun) as an alternative to seeing their GP. Everyone who would like an appointment at the Minor Ailments Clinic, is always seen on the same day.
You can be prescribed any medication you need, there and then.
There are a wide range of conditions which can be treated at the clinic including: Ear Pain or Ear Infection, Sore Throat, Viral Infection, Fever, Urinary Tract Infection (UTI), Contraception, Skin Infections, Skin Reactions and Dermatitis (dry skin), Conjunctivitis, Gout, Indigestion, Hay fever, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Back Pain, Athletes Foot, Dry Skin and Eczema, Oral Thrush, Scabies, Haemorrhoids, Chickenpox, Ringworm, Colic, Vaginal thrush, Intertrigo, Mouth Ulcers, Head Lice Acne & rosacea, Ingrowing toenail, Teething, Nappy Rash, Dry Eye, Verruca
Prescriptions and Repeat Medication
We offer free order and collecting of prescriptions for your GP, as well as walk in prescriptions while you wait. We will never turn you away or ask you to come back later if we have the medication in stock.
